I use many different mediums in my work, but my main focus is watercolor and drawing. I also incorporate air brush and printing techniques in my work. Most works are on paper or wood panel.

Christopher Dembroski is an artist working out of southern California his main emphasis is watercolor painting and drawing. Dembroski has had numerous gallery showings, his work can be found in private collections around the United States and as well as Europe. He is best known for his watercolor paintings that incorporate texture, layering and opacity to create stunning visual works.
Christopher Dembroski was born in Racine, WI. He graduated from the Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design where he received his BFA in 2001. He is currently living in San Diego, CA.
I like being inspired by the world around me, I love the simple play of textures and observing the flow of water and translating that to my work. You could say my inspiration comes from people, places, and the textures of life. Abstract and illustrative, I have a passion for creating works that are both beautiful while still instilling a sense of minor oddity.

I draw a lot of inspiration from nature many of my pieces are directly influenced by my natural environment. I love being influenced by plants and the landscapes of southern California. I have an intense fascination on the flow of water which is reflective in my work.
